To this day, the high art of calligraphy flows into the work of young Iranian artists. In the hand-tufted carpet AFSUN, the two Persian letters "H" and "T" are transformed into a lively design. They not only stand for Hadi Tehrani's initials, but also for “Heetch” and “Tamam” (the essence of being complete and of nothingness), thus also paying homage to the spiritual-mystical doctrine of Sufism, which has its origins in Iran. The carpet is characterised by a pleasantly soft, very dense pile and is made of the finest merino wool, framed by silk borders that meet the matt look of the wool and produce fine light reflections.
