Seegerhaus, St. Gallen, Switzerland

Description
The Seegerhaus in St. Gallen is a prime example of the harmonious integration of modern design into historic buildings. During the renovation, we paid careful attention to maintaining the fine balance between preserving the classic architecture and introducing contemporary design elements. The use of our 100% PES FR velvet Valery 2851 and the custom-made "Newtopia" wallpaper in an impressive size of 3.5 x 9 meters give the room an impressive depth and structure. Our furnishing solutions not only emphasize the venerable elegance of the historic building, but also give it a fresh, contemporary atmosphere. The curtains, which are over 9 meters long and unique in St. Gallen, are a particular highlight. They are an impressive design element that emphasizes the historic, monumental architecture of the building. They also make an important contribution to the room acoustics. At Fischbacher 1819, we take a holistic approach to interior design, with aesthetics and functionality going hand in hand. Completed in October 2023, the Seegerhaus impressively demonstrates how traditional rooms can be adapted to modern requirements and reinterpreted using creative and well thought-out design approaches without losing their original character.
