Villa del Sarto, Milan, Italy
In Milan’s historic Quartiere del Sarto, a 1920s bourgeois villa is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens by Garibaldi Architects.
Designed for an Italian family returning from Hong Kong, the residence balances Milanese restraint with subtle Asian accents. The interiors unfold around a midnight-blue staircase with gilded highlights, creating a strong architectural axis that connects heritage and modernity.
For this project, Garibaldi Architects selected Fischbacher 1819 fabrics ZEN and KATANGA, chosen for their ability to enhance the dialogue between light, material and space. A home where craftsmanship, culture and contemporary living converge.
