A textured surface, along which vertical stripes undulate like little waves, characterises this fascinating base fabric. A PES textile, soft to the touch and non-slip because an effect yarn made from a mix of polyester, cotton and linen is used. This yarn is first dyed and then combined with a shrink thread that provides the material with support. The material is subsequently steamed after weaving. During this last processing stage, the effect yarn shrinks slightly again, thereby producing the characteristic three-dimensional look.
