Somnio is a transparent leno weave. In this weaving technique two warp yarns are twisted around a weft yarn, which allows for high stability even with a low density of warp threads. In Somnio’s case, there are only eight threads per cm used in the warp. Christian Fischbacher’s eye-catching jacquard design is created by the interchange of tight weaves and long floats. This textile masterpiece is manufactured in Italy.
