Bel Ouvrage – Il Corpo della Materia
On the occasion of the 61st Venice Biennale, the independent curatorial platform Bel Ouvrage presents Il Corpo della Materia, an exhibition held in the historic cloister of the Madonna dell'Orto, in the Cannaregio district. The scenography, curated by Carole de Bona and conceived by Studio Andrée Putman, unfolds as a sequential journey through space – where material becomes the primary language shaping perception and atmosphere.
Fischbacher 1819 contributed to the installation with the fabric BENU SKY RECYCLED FR, part of BENU Recycled Collection. Selected by Studio Andrée Putman, our textile is used for a scenography of suspended panels traversing the cloister, creating effects of transparency and layering. The lightness of the voile helps shape an immersive space, giving form, depth and presence to an environment designed to be experienced as much as seen.
