Kamran means "happy" or "prosperous" and is a name historically associated with nobility and good fortune.
The carpet is inspired by geometric carpet patterns, incorporating classic shapes such as diamonds and repositioning them to create a contemporary design using traditional handcrafted knotting techniques. Kamran is inspired by Fischbacher1819’s Sitara design.
The ziggurat technique is used, whereby the pile is deliberately left longer to achieve a soft, tactile surface. Kamran is hand-knotted by Luri nomadic women using traditional techniques and hand-spun sheep's wool dyed with natural dyes.
Kamran represents a sophisticated fusion of Persian textile culture and contemporary design.
Care
To maintain your carpet's appearance and longevity, vacuum it at least once a week using a standard vacuum cleaner. Use a brush roller for deeper cleaning once or twice a year. Professional cleaning is recommended every 1–2 years.
