Jamshid is named after a legendary Persian king. The carpet is inspired by a multi-layered, abstract landscape that results in a soft striped design in vibrant colours. A silent dialogue between earth, horizon and atmosphere.
The ziggurat technique is used, in which the pile is deliberately left longer to achieve a soft, tactile surface. Jamshid is hand-knotted by Luri nomadic women using traditional techniques and hand-spun sheep's wool dyed with natural dyes.
Care
To maintain your carpet's appearance and longevity, vacuum it at least once a week using a standard vacuum cleaner. Use a brush roller for deeper cleaning once or twice a year. Professional cleaning is recommended every 1–2 years.
