Introducing Velvet Stretch

Fischbacher 1819 presents the new upholstery fabric VELVET STRETCH.

A pioneering new wool velvet with a stretch base, VELVET STRETCH, which boasts a 45000 Martindale, is designed to fit perfectly with the increasingly fluid and organic shapes of today’s furnishings. Thanks to the exceptionally high pile of this 100% wool, this fabric expresses all the material richness and softness of traditional velvet, combining it with an elasticity that guarantees an impeccable fit on curved and sinuous volumes.

Available in a palette of 21 colours, carefully  curated to create a harmonious tonal progression from neutrals to bright, vibrant hues and deep, darker tones, each shade appears more saturated and particularly intense due to the fabric’s very dense wool pile enhancing the material’s three-dimensionality. In darker shades, the special structure of the woollen pile notably creates slight colour variations adding further depth and character. Stretchable in both directions, the unique quality offers perfect versatility and stands out for its ability to combine aesthetics and functionality, responding to the needs of designers looking for versatile solutions for upholstered furniture with a strong visual impact.

"Velvet Stretch embodies the power of color: bold, vibrant, and rich, ready to transform any space with depth and personality. An invitation to embrace color with confidence and creativity."
