Benu Recycled Upholstery FR Collection

Launching in September 2025, Fischbacher 1819 introduces BENU Recycled Upholstery - an elegant range that combines recycled fibres and natural refinement.

The BENU Recycled range continues to push boundaries in recycled textiles, offering richly tactile velvets, graphic bouclés and softly draping blackout fabrics - all flame retardant, all crafted from repurposed yarns. Designed to coordinate effortlessly, the palette moves from dusky neutrals to saturated shades, inviting layered, tonal schemes.

BENU Recycled is part of Fischbacher 1819’s long-standing commitment to circular design and textile innovation. First launched in 2009, it was one of the industry’s earliest recycled textile collections and has since expanded into four core categories - PET, YARN, SEA and INDUSTRY - each using repurposed fibres, from post-consumer plastic bottles to fashion industry offcuts. The latest BENU Recycled release focuses on flame-retardant upholstery fabrics designed to meet the needs of architects, designers and specifiers. The range now includes seven versatile textiles, from richly textured bouclés and structured geometrics to plush velvets, a fil coupé and a softly draping blackout. All are crafted from recycled fibres, engineered for durability, and designed to coordinate tonally across the collection. The palette moves from classic neutrals to rich, architectural shades, enabling layered, design-led schemes for residential and contract spaces alike.
